Yes. We accept cash, checks, debit and credit cards. Your health is our top priority and we will make every effort to accommodate your healthcare needs and make chiropractic care available to you. - Do I need a referral from my medical doctor?
No. It is no longer necessary in the state of Washington to obtain a referral from your primary doctor. - I opened a claim at the Emergency Room for a car accident. Can I still see Dr. Wheeler?
Yes. Care for an auto/work injury can be transferred to Dr. Wheeler even if it has been started at another facility. You can see multiple healthcare providers for the same injury. - Can I re-open an old L & I claim?
You have 7 years after the date of injury to reopen your work related injury claim. Each case may vary so call us for specifics to your claim.
Health Related Questions:
- Do you treat children?
Yes. All people can benefit from chiropractic care regardless of their age. Children are often overlooked when it comes to back or neck problems. Their symptoms should not be overlooked. Have them checked. Spinal conditions can often be corrected much easier in the early stages.
There are other benefits as well: Dr. Wheeler received a thank you note from a family under his care. Here is what the Preston Family had to say: "Dear Dr. Wheeler and staff, we want to thank you for being such a blessing to our family. Our kids used to be sick every month during the winter. We were constantly at the doctor, emergency room and on medication. Since receiving care at your office we only see our doctor at well child check ups and they have not been on medication for a long time. We appreciate what you have done to help our family. We are much healthier than ever before!" - Do you treat pregnant women?
Yes. Dr. Wheeler has treated many pregnant women. Every case is individual, but most pregnant women found that chiropractic care can alleviate many symptoms due to pregnancy. - What is a chiropractic treatment like?
A treatment, also called an adjustment is a non-invasive, gentle movement of the spine. - Isn't physical therapy or massage therapy enough to treat my injury?
Not usually. Many times there are more than muscular concerns present. Most patients benefit from chiropractic care when there are structural/spinal problems. Chiropractors are trained to detect structural problems so therefore are the physician of choice to diagnose and treat spinal conditions. - Do I need to have x-rays?
Most of the time x-rays are very helpful in diagnosing your condition. X-rays, the "blueprint" of your spine, provide valuable information about your health. However, not all cases warrant x-rays. Dr. Wheeler will be able to answer questions about your individual condition.
